Harmer AV Flat Roofing

is a general range of outlets that uses anti-vortex principles to optimise flow performance when connected to individual downpipes as part of a "one-to-one" system. The outlet uses a patented baffle within the grating to prevent water swirl and air entrapment, enabling the outlet to drain at 90% of its pipe capacity.

Key advantages of AV flat roofing:

Harmer Flat Rooging AV units are available as vertical spigot or vertical screw and in gunmetal for copper or lead clad roofs or for connection to copper pipework. Gunmetal outlets are the same design as aluminium outlets, but are cast in 85/5/5/5 leaded gunmetal to BS EN 1982: 1999 - CC491K. Foamed insulation is available as an option for both aluminium and gun metal outlets.

Harmer Flat Rooging AV Retro-gulley outlets are designed to fit within the existing outlet and pipework of a roof that is being upgraded. It is a very cost-effective and efficient solution, since it is not necessary to remove the old rainwater outlet. The tail pipe is cut to the required length, inserted through the existing outlet and sealed to the existing pipework using a special multi-fin pipe seal. The Retro-gulley has been designed in conjunction with the Flat Rooging Contractors Advisory Board.

Torchtite Flat Roofing

is a dual reinforced TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) modified bitumen membrane for flat roofing. It is ideal where economy and performance are priorities on flat roofing projects. Torchtite is used as a cap sheet in built up systems, usually over a base layer of Hi - Ten.

Torchtite Supa 40 comprises a polymer modified bitumen with a dual reinforcement of polyester/glass fibre with torch fusible polyethylene lining to the underside of flat roofing.

Torchtite is suitable for application to metal, woodwool, concrete flat roofing and timber decks. It may form the waterproofing layer in warm, cold or inverted roof constructions.

Korklite Flat Roofing

is made from natural cork granules which are steamed and pressure bonded into boards using the cork's own natural resins. Korklite has exceptional dimensional stability under wide temperature fluctuations for flat roofing.

Korklite insulation offers a number of key advantages for use with flat roofing systems:
